Stacy Soberalski is a globally experienced Chief People Officer/CHRO-level executive with a track record of building and leading high-performing People functions across hypergrowth startups, global enterprises, and complex M&A environments. She is known for aligning people strategy with business objectives, driving organizational effectiveness, and guiding companies through periods of transformation with both operational rigor and a human-centered approach.
Over the course of her nearly three-decade career, Stacy has held senior leadership roles at Google (across the U.S. and EMEA), MTV Networks / Viacom, Tribune Company, and Omnicom Media Group. She has also served as a strategic advisor to and led organizations including Woven Planet Holdings (a Toyota company), Ubiquitous Energy, Grosvenor Americas, and Constellation Brands. Stacy is a trusted partner to CEOs and boards, with deep expertise in organizational design, executive coaching, leadership development, culture transformation, workforce planning, and navigating risk in high-stakes employee matters.
Her experience spans the full employee lifecycle, including scaling global teams, integrating acquisitions, managing reductions in force, and ensuring compliance across multi-state and international environments. She is particularly recognized for her ability to lead through complex and sensitive moments with clarity, discretion, and integrity, balancing business needs with employee experience and organizational reputation.
Stacy is also a Founding Partner of Exitous, a woman-owned HR technology company focused on improving the employee exit experience, bringing greater structure, compliance, and care to a critical and often overlooked stage of the employee lifecycle.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from DePaul University and a Master’s degree in Occupational Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago, grounding her leadership approach in both behavioral science and practical application.
A committed philanthropist and community leader, Stacy has served on the advisory council for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, helping to raise more than $20 million, and as an officer on the corporate board of the Boys & Girls Club of Napa Valley.
